WHO WE ARE
The International Organization of Aspiring Astronauts began because of a conversation between two hopeful future astronauts over social media. Realizing the power of the internet to connect such an already-international community, we developed an organization to do just that: to provide a space for dreamers to support each other as we chase our goals.
IOAA aims to build an international and collaborative network where those who dream of going to space can meet and support each other as we move into the spaceflight industry and the astronaut application process. As teamwork is so integral to successful space missions, we hope to foster that early on by connecting those who share a goal and build a strong, unique, and diverse cadre of future spaceflight professionals.
